Aaron Good is a trombonist from Fredericton, New Brunswick and has studied under Dr. Karen Bulmer at Memorial University in St. John’s Newfoundland, and Mr. Gordon Sweeny at the University of Toronto. He is an active freelance musician in Toronto and has performed recently with Orchestra Toronto, the Etobicoke Philharmonic, the Scarborough Philharmonic, and the Hart House Orchestra. In the past he has also played with the Toronto Concert Orchestra.
In addition to his love of orchestral music, Aaron is a passionate chamber musician. His work with the Vox Aeris Trio is some of his favorite. With a love for musical theatre, cheesy 80’s rock hits, and thunderous orchestral brass, Aaron brings a unique perspective to the ensemble. Many works in the group’s repertoire are of his own arrangement as Aaron is the group theory geek.
Aaron has toured across Newfoundland, Labrador, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia as a chamber musician and teacher. He loves to engage with audiences and students through the joy and accessibility of music.
When not playing trombone, Aaron can be found nose deep in a good book, collecting bowties, or rolling dice in his latest ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ game with his friends!
